Frankfort Youth Tour 2017
Twelve local high school juniors joined other students from across Kentucky and visited the commonwealth's capitol as part of the Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperative's Frankfort Youth Tour on April 13th.
The program brings together students selected from their local electric cooperatives to tour Frankfort and learn about state government.

During the day-long program the students toured the state capitol building, the Governor’s mansion, the Kentucky History Museum and the Kentucky Vietnam Memorial. Students met with The Honorable Alison Lundergan Grimes, Secretary of State, in the Capitol Annex building. They also heard a presentation by House Majority Floor Leader, Jonathan Shell.
